The Set For Private Fears In Public Places

Private Fears In Public Places was conceived, like the majority of Alan Ayckbourn's plays, for the round (although it has been very successfully staged as an end-stage play).

The left-hand diagram is Alan Ayckbourn's original concept sketch for the layout of the stage. The right-hand diagram is the set-design by Pip Leckenby as it appeared in the world premiere production in 2004 at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough.
